Hold the order fulfillment in Shopify

Keeping an order fulfillment on hold is an important option to give you more time to check the order analysis before deciding to fulfill orders with elevated risk levels.

SEON runs fraud checks for every order you receive in your Shopify store. When an order is considered risky based on your scoring threshold settings, it will be given the REVIEW or DECLINE state (recommendation). By enabling the Fulfillment hold, you can automatically put these order fulfillments on hold until you make a decision. The hold will automatically be released when the order check state is updated to APPROVE on SEON’s Admin Panel.

Tip: Please note, we can only change this status in your Shopify admin and we cannot control any 3rd party fulfillment tools if they do not actively follow the order fulfillment state in Shopify.

You can easily set up automatic fulfillment hold for your Shopify store in seconds:

1. Go to Apps.

2. Open SEON Fraud Prevention app.

3. Go to Settings.

4. Scroll down to the Review section.

5. Toggle the switch left of Fulfillment hold.
